SECOND DEATH is run by Jay, an NB lesbian from the outskirts of Pittsburgh. Their upbringing in this ancient land wrought by pollution has been a lifelong source of inspiration to their art. SECOND DEATH refers to the Biblical concept of a “final death” to those not approved by god, as a call of defiance, & the embrace & pursuit of life after catastrophic destruction. Frequently used design themes include florals, goats, the color red, fun VHS filters, 90s Grunge aesthetics, & fierce animal imagery.
GulpSpooky is a retro cartoonist!
